About Our Clinics
We understand a trip to urgent care can be stressful for both the child and their caregiver. That’s why we’ve designed every aspect of Pediatric Urgent Care to be prompt, caring, and appropriate for kids.
Our average appointment time is just 44 minutes from check-in to check-out and no appointment is required.
Every member of our health care team specializes in caring for children and has received additional education and training essential to caring for children in Pediatric Urgent Care.
The lobby has been designed to entertain babies and children of all ages. For younger patients, we’ve carefully selected easy-to-clean toys that promote imaginative play. In Meridian, our outdoor play area with safe animal toys makes it easy for your child to get the wiggles out before their visit.
Teens and parents will appreciate the comfortable seating, TVs, free WiFi, and USB charging outlets.
Each exam room features colorful, soothing designs, natural finishes, and technology to facilitate the sharing of information between parent and provider.
Cost and Payment
Urgent Care costs up to 75% less than the ER, and we are in-network for most insurance plans.
For self-pay patients, we offer a cash discount on some services, or patients may pay a minimum of $50 at the time of service and make regular monthly payments thereafter.
Managing Your Child’s Records
All Primary Health clinics are connected using electronic health records. You will have access to your child’s Patient Account, through which you can get lab results, request refills, email the provider directly, and much more. Learn more about how to access your Patient Account.
Beyfortus RSV Vaccine
Primary Health pediatricians recommend that infants in their first RSV season receive the Beyfortus RSV vaccine, which is now available on a walk-in basis at Pediatric Urgent Care in Meridian and Nampa for patients with commercial insurance.
We are currently able to vaccinate babies 0 – 8 months of age. Patients must also meet the following requirements:
- Infant has not had a dose of Synagis (a different RSV injection) within the past 30 days
- Mom did not receive an RSV vaccination during the pregnancy
- Infant is not allergic to any of the Beyfortus ingredients
- Infant is not Alaskan Native/American Indian
Beyfortus has been shown to significantly reduce ER visits and hospitalizations in infants who contract RSV. The major side effects are rash (1% for up to 2 weeks), local reaction at the injection site (<1% for up to 7 days), and fever (similar to routine vaccines).
Please walk in to either Pediatric Urgent Care location to have your baby vaccinated against RSV.
