The public is invited to celebrate the groundbreaking of Primary Health Medical Group’s 17th location and first Garden City clinic on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10 AM. The event will take place at 5601 Chinden Blvd. in Garden City, between Quilt Expressions and Wendy’s near Fred Meyer.
The new location will be the first in Garden City for Primary Health and the city’s first and only urgent care clinic. Scheduled to open spring 2016, the facility will include 9 exam rooms, an x-ray suite, trauma room, lab and two procedure rooms. Services will include walk-in urgent care, employer services including work injury care and drug testing, and family medicine by appointment. Hours will be 8 AM – 8 PM daily.
“Garden City is bustling with business activity on a daily basis, but the area has long been underserved when it comes to comprehensive medical care. We are pleased to be the group to bring urgent care and family medicine to individuals and businesses in the area,” said David Peterman, M.D., Primary Health President.
Primary Health Medical Group was recently voted by employees as one of the 10 Best Places to Work in Idaho. Additional new clinics are opening in Boise this October and in Meridian early 2016. Primary Health is currently hiring staff and physicians, and interested individuals are encouraged to visit the Careers page for more information or to apply.
