Dr. Roberts grew up in Ontario, Oregon on a potato and onion farm amongst a large family. During school, he worked for several years in the emergency department as a scribe. Prior to graduating from Boise State with degrees in biology and pre-medical studies, he served a mission in Venezuela where he became fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Roberts completed medical school at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, WA, and attended residency at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho where he trained in Boise and Caldwell for three years.
Dr. Roberts enjoys a number of hobbies including fishing, hunting, distance running, skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, playing board games with family, and traveling with his wife. Dr. Roberts’ wife is originally from Idaho and works as a local oncology nurse. They enjoy doing many outdoor activities together and with their families.
